Since I’d made elderflower wheat beer at the beginning of the summer, I had to make elderberry wheat beer from the same backyard tree at the end of the summer. Brewed 8 August 2017.

Notes
As so many brewers have discovered, elderberries and beer is a match made in heaven. Add orange peels about 15 minutes before end of boil.

Its not clear when to add elderberries…
Oh, you’re right! I added them after the primary fermentation was complete, so after 3-5 days I imagine, and kept them in for another week or so.
